Our Behaviour Support Services
We provide evidence‑informed, person‑centred behaviour support to NDIS participants across Melbourne’s western suburbs and through telehealth Australia‑wide. Our approach is grounded in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), trauma‑informed practice, and a commitment to improving quality of life.
Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA)
A Functional Behaviour Assessment helps us understand the reasons behind behaviours of concern. We gather information through interviews, observations, and review of existing documentation to identify patterns, triggers, and the purpose the behaviour serves.
The outcome is a clear understanding of what the behaviour communicates and what supports are needed to improve safety, wellbeing, and independence.
Behaviour Support Plans (BSP)
We develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans that are practical, person‑centred, and aligned with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements. Each plan includes proactive strategies, skill‑building recommendations, environmental adjustments, and tailored support approaches.
Our plans focus on reducing behaviours of concern, improving quality of life, and supporting long‑term positive outcomes.
Implementation Support & Training
We work closely with families, carers, and support workers to ensure the Behaviour Support Plan is understood and implemented effectively. Support may include one‑on‑one coaching, team training sessions, modelling strategies, and ongoing guidance.
Our goal is to build confidence and consistency across the support network.
Ongoing Monitoring & Review
Behaviour support is an ongoing process. We provide regular check‑ins, data review, and plan updates to ensure the support remains effective and aligned with the participant’s goals.
We collaborate with allied health professionals, support coordinators, and providers to maintain a holistic approach.
Restrictive Practice Reporting
If restrictive practices are in place, we support the authorisation process and reporting requirements set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. We prioritise safety, dignity, and least‑restrictive alternatives.
Telehealth Behaviour Support
For participants outside Melbourne’s western suburbs, we offer behaviour support via telehealth. This includes assessments, plan development, training, and reviews. Telehealth is flexible, accessible, and effective for many participants.
